Obituary of Christopher Ian Lowe
Christopher Ian Lowe, 41, passed away on Friday, January 27, 2024, in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born on September 21, 1982 at Subic Bay Naval Hospital in Manilla, Philippines. He was the son of Rebecca Belino Pinyerd (Danny) of Jacksonville, North Carolina and the late James Neal Lowe of Danville, Kentucky. He graduated from Danville High School in 2000 and attended BCTC for a short period of time.
He is survived by his son, Wells Patrick Lowe and his mother Kallie Milburn of Versailles, Kentucky; his brother, Patrick Ryan Lowe of Lexington, Kentucky; sisters, April Kathleen Lowe of Lexington, Kentucky and Rosanna Pinyerd of Jacksonville, N.C.; his special aunt, Debbie Lowe of Danville, Kentucky; aunts, Cecilia Macias of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Gladys Carney of Springfield, Kentucky. He is also survived by numerous cousins and relatives; best friends, Alexander “Tito” Bentley and Andrew “Drew” Hayes of Lexington, Kentucky.
Chris was known for his charismatic personality and his ability to make people laugh. Always an adventurous spirit, he participated in a bullfight in Costa Rica and even rode on a bus full of chickens in his 20’s. He was a loving father who enjoyed fishing and spending time with his son. Watching Wells playing a variety of sports and most recently watching him learn how to box was the highlight of his day. One could hear him say, “Did you see my boy make that tackle?! Well let me show you”. Lastly, we cannot forget about his beloved, four-pawed son, Chase. One could often witness Chris playing fetch or feeding him pieces of cheeseburger and french fries, or his head hanging out the backseat of the window in Chris' car. No matter what Chris, Wells, and Chase were always together.
A funeral service will be held Friday, February 2, 2024, at 1pm, Clark Funeral Home, Versailles. Visitation will begin at 11am until the time of the service. Graveside will follow at 2pm, Sunset Memorial Gardens, Frankfort. Serving as casket bearers will be Wells Patrick Lowe, Patrick Ryan Lowe, Alexander "Tito" Bentley, Andrew "Drew" Hayes, Danny "Duchie" Fulton, and Manning Tagarook.
