Keith & I loved Chris like one of our own. So much fun to be around. He’d come out to eat after high school with our boys and Alex. We were like family . God bless all who have been touched by this . Jenny & Keith Hughes

Chris was our neighbor. My grandson’s and Wells played together a lot. They are devastated to hear of Chris’s passing. He would take them to the park. Always sharing with them. They will certainly miss him

Josh Barker posted a condolence

In 2007 I was preparing to make a cross-country road trip from Lexington, KY to San Diego, CA. Chris woke up as I was packing and said, "Where you going, Barker? California? Ah Man, I'm down.....LET'S ROLL!"
That is how I'll always remember Chris, always spontaneous and adventurous. Thank you very much for all the laughs, haole boy! I know you're rocking those aviators at the pearly gates, my brother. LOVE YOU ALWAYS!
To Kallie and Wells, God's mercy
