She was born January 22, 1925 in Lexington to the late Virgil H. and Mabel Cox Ward and she was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church. She is survived by her three children, Rickey Anthony {Pam} Fernand; Tina Catherine {Ronnie} Stewart; Michael Kim {Debbie} Fernand; her sister Thelma Bratton and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 6 brothers; Leonard, Chester, Porter, Virgil Jr., Leslie and Floyd Ward, her 4 sisters, Anna E. {one year old} died Sept. 13, 1914; Dorothy Baker; Beatrice White and Virginia Saunders. <b>Funeral Information</b> Her funeral service will be 12 noon Monday, August 25, 2014 at Clark Legacy Center Brannon Crossing conducted by Father Chris Clay with burial to follow at Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
