Obituary of Linda Lee Wiedo

Mrs. Linda Lee Snapp Wiedo, age 81 of Frankfort, Kentucky was born on December 13, 1942 in Versailles, Kentucky and departed this life on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at UofL Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.

Linda is survived by her daugher: Lisa Sams, her son: David (Yvette) Wiedo, her grandchildren: Matt Sams, Josh (Rebecca) Sams, Daniel (Lisa) Ueltschi, Laura Ueltschi, Andy (Megan) Newman, great-grandchildren Logan, Maddie, Ava, Charlie, Robbie and Kensley.

Linda is preceded in death by her husband: Richard Wayne Wiedo, her parents: Edgar Russell Snapp and Nettie Reed Snapp, her daughter: Susan Wiedo Roe, her granddaughter: Bethany Megan Sams, her great-granddaughter: Jada Ueltschi, her sister: Joyce Wagner and her beloved Yorkie: Barney.

Our mom loved doing genealogy and enriched our heritage by documenting our ancestors for the benefit of future generations.  An avid doll collector, she loved finding dolls from her youth and sharing her finds with her family.  She was always there to cheer us on or to share in our grief and she will be sorely missed.

Cremation was chosen and services will be held at a later date.
