Obituary of John Phillip Ritchie

John Phillip Ritchie, 84, died Wednesday, April 10, 2024 in Frankfort, Ky. John was born in Knott County, Ky on May 16, 1939, to the late Isaac Ritchie and Grace Hughes. Mr. Ritchie was a United States Army Veteran. 

John is survived by his sons, John Ritchie, Jr. (Gale), and Jeff Ritchie. His daughers, Natalie Johnson, Patricia Chestnut, and Lanie Galasso (Adam), and his grand children, Josh and Ryan Hill, Austin Selander, Tuff Galimba, DJ Johnson, Maggie, Regan and Olivia Galasso, and John Ritchie, III.

Other than his parents, Mr. Ritchie was preceded in death by his son, James Ritchie.

There will be a visitation for Mr. Ritchie on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at Clark Legacy Center in Frankfort from 11:00am to 1:00pm. The Funeral Service will be at 1pm, and burial will be private.
