Obituary of Thelma Jean "Jeannie" Gallagher

Mrs. Jeannie Gallagher, age 98 of Frankfort, Kentucky, was born in Fayette County, Pennsylvania on Jul 2, 1925, to the late William S. and Martha (Gaskel) Conn and departed this life on Monday, February 19, 2024 at Bradford Square in Frankfort, Kentucky.

She married Charles Thomas Gallagher in 1946, they were married 53 years before his passing in 1993.  Other than her parents she was preceded in death by 5 siblings: Billy, Herman, Anne-Maye and Eleanor Conn and Gladys Sidow.

She is survived by her son, Charles Gallagher (Jessica), a brother, Robert Conn, two sisters, Katheryn and Janet Conn.  Jeanie has 2 Grandchildren, Shawn Gallagher (Lynanne) and Amber Garcia (Manuel) and Great-Grandchildren, Michael Styeman, Maya Garcia, CJ Garcia, Brady Gallagher and Lily Gallagher.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 23, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Clark Legacy Center-Frankfort.  Visitation will be held after 9 a.m. on Friday until time for services.  Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Frankfort, Kentucky
