Obituary of Ann Jean Smith

Ann Jean Smith, 86, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2024. The wife of the late Jimmie Smith, Ann was born September 20, 1937, to the late Ralph and Mynia Bell Logan Pulliam in Frankfort, Kentucky. Ann loved a good adventure whether it be camping, fishing, boating, or listening to her family play live music, she was ready! She enjoyed every holiday and having her family over to celebrate. A huge pumpkin cake for Halloween or bourbon balls for Christmas, Ann enjoyed baking treats and meals for her family. It was important to her that her children and grandchildren felt supported and loved.  

Ann is survived by her children, Patty (Mark) Dunn Wright, Scotty Dunn, and Michael (Teresa) Dunn all of Frankfort; her sisters, Doris G. Jones and Evelyn Perry, both of Frankfort; a brother, Doug Pulliam of Lexington; her grandchildren, Kim (Todd) Beers of Frankfort, Jason (Amber) Dunn of Frankfort, Brandon Dunn of Frankfort, Dylan Wright, of Louisville, and Tyler Dunn of Frankfort; and her stepchildren, Susan Smith, Don Smith, Terry Smith, and Timmy Smith, all of Frankfort.  

Ann was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jimmie Smith, and her parents, Ralph and Mynia Bell Logan Pulliam.  

A Funeral Service will be held 1:00p, Thursday, February 22, 2024, at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd, Frankfort, with Mike Napier officiating. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Frankfort, with Dylan Wright, Wes Jones, Jason Dunn, Brandon Dunn, Tyler Dunn, and Parker Hammons serving as Pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 11:00a unit the time of service on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at the funeral home.
