Obituary of Patsy H. Weick

Patsy Hawkins Weick, age 79, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, February 11, 2024. Pat was born December 31, 1944, to the late Paul Stewart Hawkins and Doris Marceline (Brown) Petrey in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky.  

Pat devoted her life to both family and work. She adored her grandchild and great grandchildren and was considered Granny to many others. Pat was a faithful and longtime employee at both State National Bank and later she worked for Kentucky State Police in the Supply Branch, where she retired.  

She leaves to mourn her daughter and only child Tina Elliston Lloyd, granddaughter Emily Faith Elliston and great-grandsons Mason Carter Evins II and Grayson Asher Johnson of Frankfort, Kentucky. Also, Paul Lewis Hawkins, brother, of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Doris Marie Newman. 

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00p on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd, Frankfort with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Frankfort. Pall bearers will be Mark Cook, Larry Eversole, Mason Evins, Justin Goebel, Chris Johnson, and Johnnie Vaughan. Visitation will be held from 6:00p until 8:00p on Monday, February 19, 2024, at the funeral home.  

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests Memorial Contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at stjude.org/donate.
