Obituary of Peggy Ann Wright Slugantz

Peggy Ann Wright Slugantz, 65, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024. The wife of Steve Slugantz, Peggy was born November 19, 1958, to the late Paul Curtis and Eva Louise Wright in Versailles, Kentucky. Wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Peggy lived for her family and taking care of others, always putting them before herself.  

In addition to her loving husband of 46 years, Steve Slugantz of Versailles, Peggy is survived by her daughter, Stacy (Billy) Fish of Versailles; granddaughters, Makenna Fish and Hailey Fish; and her brothers, Richard (Laura) Wright of Somerset and Donald Wright of Versailles.  

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Curtis and Eva Louise Wright; a sister, Barbara Smith; and a brother, Paul Wright, Jr.  

A Funeral Service will be held 10:30am, Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill Ave, Versailles, with Rev. Jim Hardy officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Frankfort, Kentucky with Josh Slugantz, Wes Slugantz, Steve Smith, Adam Wright, Brett Wright, and Marc Wright serving as Pallbearers. Keith Slugantz will serve as an Honorary Pallbearer. Visitation will be held from 5:00pm until 7:00pm, on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at the funeral home.
