Obituary of Marilyn Jean Curliss

Marilyn Jean Curliss, 86, passed away February 4, 2024, in Nicholasville, Ky. Mrs. Curliss was born on December 26, 1937, to the late George Weigand and Irene Mirus in Cincinnati, Ohio, where she would later become a huge Red's baseball fan. She also loved playing board games, cross stitching, knitting, playing cards and she was an avid bowler. She also worked for many years at David Joseph Company, where she made many friends - and kept those friends, well into retirement.  

Marilyn is survived by her children, Philip Schnur (Annette) of Nicholasville and Debbie Dalesio (Frank) of North Carolina. Her stepchildren, Andy Curliss (Nikki) of North Carolina and Heather Curliss of Tennessee. Her grandchildren, Virginia Christie (James), Amy Schnur (Chris), Victoria Dalesio, Bella Dalesio, Madelyn Brill (Louis), Jake Momchilov, and Claire Curliss. And her great-grandchildren, Annabel and Jamie Christie, Ava Schnur, and Nadia Dalesio.  
 

Other than her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, James Curliss, her daughter, Linda Cole and her brother George "Jerry" Weigand.  
 

The family will have a service at a later date in Cincinnati, Ohio.
