Obituary of Oscar Lewis Jones Jr.

Lexington - Oscar Lewis Jones, Jr., 74, husband to the late, Diane Michler Jones, passed away on January 6, 2024 in Lexington . Oscar  was born in Goldsboro, North Carolina on July 13, 1949 to the late Oscar and Louetta Talton Jones. He was a professor for many years at the University of Kentucky and a veteran of the United States Army  He is survived by his sisters in law, Linda Roman, Sue Michler, Karen Michler, brothers in law, James and David Michler his cousin, Barb King, and special friends, Donna and Bob Kelly. Graveside services will be Thursday January 11, 2024, 1:30pm at Camp Nelson National Cemetery.   Visitation will be prior to the graveside service beginning at 11:00 AM at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing. www.clarklegacycenter.com
