Obituary of Anthony Dale Casey

Anthony Dale Casey, 58, husband of Tonjua Green Casey, passed away at his home after a short illness on Tuesday, January 2, 2024. He was born on July 28, 1965, in Frankfort, Kentucky to the late Ervin and Betty Casey.

He will be greatly missed by his wife of 37 years, his daughters, Jade Victoria Hicks (Shane) and Kennedy Dale Fisher (Seth), both of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. His loving granddaughters, Harley Sha’ Hicks and Sadiey Lynn Hicks. His sister, Georgianna Casey Goode (Gary) and nephew, Benjamin Goode (Christy). His sister-in-law, Patsy Casey.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ervin and Betty Casey, brothers, Ricky Casey, and Barry Casey.

Anthony was employed as a Master Plumber with the Franklin County School System where he made lifelong friendships with everyone he worked with along the years.

Anthony enjoyed hunting and fishing with his friends and watching UK sports. He enjoyed being with his friends and family, but his greatest joy was his granddaughters and couldn’t wait to add a grandson to the mix later this year.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 8, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Clark Legacy Center. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Road, Frankfort, Kentucky, with Noel Cotton, Officiating. Burial will be at the Sunset Memorial Gardens, in Frankfort, Kentucky.

Pallbearers will be Greg Webster, Wade Hatchell, David Hatchell, Shane Hicks, Seth Fisher and Lenn Holbrook. Honorary Pallbearers will be Paul Calhoun, Glenn Rogers, Mike Satterly, his granddaughters, Hartley and Sadiey, Jack Adams, Benjamin Goode, and Terry Paige.

Please join us for a Celebration of Anthony’s Life that will be held at the Clark’s Legacy Memorial Center following the burial.
