Obituary of Marlene Lawwill Halsey

Marlene Halsey Lawwill, 81, passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2023. Born September 17, 1942, to the late William and Lucille Griffith Lawwill in Dayton, Ohio, Marlene was a former video transcriptionist for various law firms. She loved her family and enjoyed working puzzles and sitting on the porch watching deer and listening to the birds sing.  

Marlene is survived by her children, Michael (Linda) Martin of Lawrenceburg and Timothy Curtis Halsey, Jr of Lawrenceburg; a sister, JoAnn Howerton; a brother, Ricky Lawwill; cousin, Ethel Scott; grandchildren, Angela Snow, David Martin, Bradley Martin, Ashley Halsey, and Cheyenne Halsey; and her great grandchildren, Cas, Matthew, Ryan, Garrett, Caleb, Evelyn, and Aidyn. 

In addition to her parents, William and Lucille Griffith Lawwill, Marelene was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert Lawwill and Phillip Lawwill. 

Services are Private with Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd, Frankfort.
