Obituary of Kenneth "Kenny" Ray Vanderpool Jr.

Kenneth "Kenny" Ray Vanderpool Jr., 68, husband of the late Susan Vanderpool, passed away on December 2, 2023 in Lexington.  Kenny was born in Lexington, Kentucky on August 13, 1955 to Betty  Vanderpool and the late Kenneth Vanderpool Sr. He worked for the City of Lexington in water treatment for many years. Kenny loved collecting guns and going hunting and fishing whenever he could. His pride and joy was his black corvette, but loved his family more than anything.  

In addition to his mother, Betty, he is survived by his stepsons, Jason Vanderpool and Justin Vanderpool; and his step grandchildren, Savannah Vanderpool and Makenzie Vanderpool.  

In addition to his father and wife, Kenny is preceded in death by his brother, James Edward Vanderpool.  

A memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
