Obituary of Carl "Mitch" Mitchell

Carl “Mitch” Mitchell, 73, husband of Janet Skelton Mitchell, passed away on May 20, 2023 peacefully in his home in Frankfort, KY.  Mitch was born in Louisville, KY on June 10, 1949 to the late Charles and Virginia Mitchell.  

He is survived by his children Jason Mitchell (Chelsea) of Lexington, Christie Mitchell of Colorado, and M. Scott Mitchell (Jennifer) of Virginia, his sister Sharon El-Saadi of Virginia, his grandchildren Morgan Mitchell, Jonah Mitchell, Makaya Mitchell, and Jackson Mitchell (Jason and Chelsea), his great grandchild Callie Anderson, and great grandchild to be Baby Mitchell (Jonah and Hannah).

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 10am at Forks of Elkhorn Baptist Church, with a reception to follow. Casual dress encouraged.

Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Mitch to Wounded Warrior or Forks of Elkhorn.
