Obituary of Betty Sue Carpenter Shreve

Betty Sue Carpenter Shreve 81, passed away at her home in Frankfort, Kentucky surrounded by family on Saturday, May 20, 2023. She was born on September 11, 1941. Betty was a member of North Fork Baptist Church. She was also a Graduate of Bourbon County High School Class of 1961. Everybody that knew Betty loved her. She loved sightseeing, people and red flowers. 

Betty leaves behind her husband Orville Shreve, whom she married on September 3, 2014. Along with her daughters Esther McCord of Frankfort, and Katrina Redfern of Frankfort. Her sisters Marie Jones and Phyllis Grant. Granchildren Tabitha, Joseph, Vicki, Curtis and Allison Brooks. And Great Grandchildren Breanna Curtis, Andrew and Andre Chenault, and Ava Curtis. 

Betty was preceeded in death by her son Rodney McCord, her father Oliver Carpenter, mother Emma Lee Johnson, and her sister Eunice Jones. 

There will be a visitation for Betty on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 from 11am-1pm at Clark Legacy Center Frankfort. Burial will be private, pallbearers include Jeremiah Duvall, Scott Tracy, Kelly Young, Joseph Curtis, Andrew Chenault and Andre Chenault.
