Obituary of Jerry Gipson

Jerry Gipson, 76, husband of Judy Tracy Graves Gipson, passed away on March 5, 2023 in Frankfort. Jerry was born in Greensup County Kentucky  on September 4, 1946 to the late Roy Gipson and Ettie Musser Gipson. Jerry left us to travel the happy hunting in the sky and to be with our Lord and Savior.  

In addition to his beloved wife, he leaves behind his brothers, Wayne (Helen) Gipson, and Leroy (Cindy) Gipson; sisters, Wilma (Don) Puckett, and Alice Feeback; his granddaughter, Josie Wilhoit; step-daughter, Beverly Gipson Bracey; step-sons, Brian Gipson and John T. Graves; step-grandchildren, Kaylie Gipson, Steven Curry, Tiffany Curry, Madison Graves, and Garrison Graves, and several nieces and nephews.  

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Linda Combs Gipson; and his beloved daughter, Jennifer Gipson; brothers, James Glenn Gipson and Clyde Gipson; and sister, Clarisse Barnes.  

A graveside service for Jerry Gipson officiated by Ed Savage with full military honors will be held Thursday, March 9, 2023 at 2:00pm at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Frankfort, Ky.  

Serving as pallbearers are Brian Gipson, David Gipson, Paul Gipson, John T. Graves, Tanner Stallings, and Don Puckett.  

Honorary pallbearers are Clay Anglin William "Tick" Tracy, Leroy Gibson, and Wayne Gipson.  

So, as he leaves his earthly home and travels to that happy hunting ground in the sky, he leaves us with this fond farewell, "Happy trails to you all until we meet again."
