Obituary of Wayne Woolums

Wayne Woolums, 76, husband of Sondra Turner Woolums, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2022. A native of Woodford County, he was born to the late Madeline Thurman and Harry Leroy Woolums, Jr on April 22, 1946. Mr. Woolums retired from Rand McNally and attended Kings Way Assembly of God Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Rhonda Woolums (David) Lewis; granddaughter, Lauren Paige Lewis; sisters, Kathy Woolums (George) Morrow, Judy Woolums (Barron) Brown and JoAnn Woolums (Larry) Sallee; and his loving dog, Prince. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Harry Ray Woolums. A Celebration of Life will be at 5:00 PM Monday, January 2, 2023 at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill. Dr. Joseph S. Girdler will officiate. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be from 3:00 PM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Woodford County Humane Society.
