
Obituary of Ann Long Dean
Frankfort – Ann Long Dean passed away on September 19, 2022 at the age of 94. A native of Frankfort, she was born on October 19, 1927 to the late Robert and Mary Long. Ann retired from National Distillers after a 30 plus year career. She was a life long member of Highland Christian Church and enjoyed helping with church meals and attending monthly lunches with the ladies group. Ann was active in the Capital Steppers for 10 years and loved dancing at events and nursing homes. She loved yard sales, taking long walks with her best friend Sally, porch sitting and was an avid UK fan. She spent her life devoted to her family and loved being a Mom, Nanny, and Mamaw.
She is survived by her daughters; Kathy Mays of Lexington, KY and Tina (John) Klemencic of Windsor, Colorado. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Michael Mays, her brother A.B., and her sisters Frances and Henrietta. She had four grandchildren; Telisa, Benjamin, Amy and Brian and six great grandchildren; Marissa, Macy, Jake, Madeline, Mason, and Austin. Ann also had one great-great grandson, Atlas, as well as many special nieces and nephews. She had a life well lived and she will be forever missed.
Services will be held at noon on Monday, September 26, 2022 at Sunset Memorial Gardens Chapel. Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd, is handling the funeral arrangements.
