Obituary of John Bruce Mattingly

Lexington - John Bruce Mattingly, 84, husband of Helen Hamilton Mattingly, passed away on September 16, 2022 in Lexington.  Mr. Mattingly was born in Loretto, Kentucky to the late George and Anna Mae Hall Mattingly on January 28, 1938.  He was a Milk Marketing Manager with Dairymens and was a member of Pax Christi Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Helen, daughter, Cindy (Mark) Schora, of New Hampshire, sons, Bruce (Beth) Mattingly, of Nicholasville, Kevin (Rhonda) Mattingly, of Nicholasville, and Gary (Mary) Mattingly, of Lexington, sister, Esther Kraft, 9 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Pax Christi Catholic Church, 11AM. Visitation will take place prior to the service beginning at 9AM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to a charity of one's choice.
