Obituary of Ramona Kay Johnson

Ramona Kay Johnson, 64, wife of the late Stan Johnson, passed away on August 22, 2022 in Lexington.  Ramona was born in Richmond, Kentucky on May 8, 1958 to the late George (Betty) Tunnell and Charlotte Sullivan. She was a switchboard operator for many years. Ramona loved playing bingo, reading, and watching the ID channel in her free time, but was also proficient at crochet. She was greatly loved by her family and friends and will be missed by all who knew her.  

She is survived by her daughters, Stacy (Shelton) Simpson, and Tiffaney Kerns; her sister, Kelly (Jeff) Duncan; her brothers, Ricky (Terry) Tunnell, and Bobby (Violet) Tunnell; and her grandchildren, Ashley Dixon and Hunter Reynolds.

In addition to her parents and husband, Ramona was preceded in death by her brother, Randy Tunnell.
