Obituary of Joe Bryant

Joe Bryant, 68, passed away on Friday, August 5, 2022. A native of Frankfort, he was born on January 30, 1954 to the late Herbert and Ruby Akins Bryant Sr. Joe was always there for his family and friends; he loved and was loved by everyone that knew him including his dogs. A jack of all trades, Joe loved to barter, and anything you needed he could get.

He is survived by his wife, Emily Biggs; his daughters, Julia M. (Adam) Hockensmith, Frankfort, Joanna Blackmore, Shelbyville, and Ann (Kenny) James, Campbellsville; his sons, Joe Davis (Tammy) Bryant, Owenton, and Donnie (Jennifer) Bryant, Owenton; his sisters, Peggy Bryant, Frankfort, Connie (Paul) Dean, Frankfort, and Sandra Bryant, NC; his brother, Herbert (Jamie) Bryant, Jr., Frankfort; and his grandchildren, Joe Davis, Anthony, Wyatt, Matthew, Kendra, Lauren, Blake, Meleki, Jassmine, Jesse Ray, Jesse James, Damian, Cameron, Nathan, Joshua, J.J., Anna, Oscar, Angela, Timothy Alan, and Brandon.

Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Franklin County Humane Society. Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd, is in charge of arrangements.
