Obituary of Stuart Marion Horn

Stuart Marion Horn of Elk Horn, Kentucky was born March 22, 1970 and died suddenly in an automotive accident early Wednesday morning April 6th, 2022.

 

Stuart was a beloved father, son, brother, and friend. He is survived by three children Isabella Ann, Julianna Clare, and Brianna Nicole. He is also survived by his parents Marion and Elaine Horn, brother Starr Horn (Margaret) and their daughter Chloe, and by his sister Sonya Taylor (Andrew), as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and good friends.

 

Stuart was preceded in death by daughter Cheyenna Rose.  

 

Stuart dedicated his life to serving others in his community. He was a 33° Mason and Shriner. He was a member of the Knights of St. Andrews and was recently elected Chaplin of the Grand Master Lodge in Kentucky. He served as a volunteer firefighter, and assisted in numerous disaster relief efforts. 

 

Stuart was an active member of Campbellsville Baptist Church in Campbellsville, Kentucky and enthusiastically engaged in the Men’s Bible Study.

 

Stuart’s life revolved around family and serving others. He lived his life with passion and enthusiasm, fearlessly overcoming many obstacles. He lived life to the fullest and enjoyed several past times including Taekwondo, fishing, and woodworking.

 

Stuart’s life was marked by fearless devotion and heartfelt dedication. He gave us the gift of courage and the belief that through Christ all things are possible.

 

A Celebration of Stuart’s Life will be held Wednesday, April 13th at Clark’s Legacy Center at 601 E. Brannon Road, Nicholasville, Kentucky between 1-3:30 PM. The Celebration Service is at 1:00 PM, followed by the reception at 2:00 PM. Burial service will take place 4:00 PM the same day at Walnut Hill Church located 575 Walnut Hill Road, Lexington, Kentucky.

 

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, please consider donating to your local Shriners Hospital.
