Obituary of Charles Aldred Tingle

Charles Aldred Tingle, 73, widower of Judith Ann Mushrush Tingle, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2022. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on April 6, 1948 to the late Donald Tingle and Helen Gertrude Tingle. He was the owner of Bluegrass Power Generation. Charles was the President and founding member of Southern Knights of Central Kentucky for over 20 years. His life revolved around car shows and charity events. Charles was a huge supporter of Ronald McDonald house, when the club would have charity events, he would match the donation no matter the amount. He loved UK Basketball. Charles will be missed by everyone that knew him.

He is survived by his daughter, Sunnie Tingle-Forbes, FL; his sisters, Sue Ellen Scott, TX, Ann Lee Johnson, TX, Mary Elizabeth Scholar, Versailles; his sister-in-law, Mary (Lyle) Adsit, PA; and his brothers-in-law, Joe Mushrush and Jim Mushrush, both of PA.

Celebration of Charles’ Life will be held from 1:00pm until 4:00pm on Sunday, March 13, 2022 at North Frankfort Baptist Church on Owenton Rd. Military honors for Charles will be held at 4:00pm on Sunday, March 13, 2022 at North Frankfort Baptist Church. Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd is in charge of arrangements.
