Obituary of Willy Fogle

Willard James "Willy” Fogle, 60, husband of Lisa Fogle, passed away on January 15, 2022 in Lexington. He was born in Salem, New Jersey on April 30, 1961 to the late Chin and Ruby Fogle. Willy served as a Lexington City Council-member from 1994 to 2003. He was honored to serve the people in the 9th District. He was a former board member for the Board of Health, Lexington Center, Explorium of Lexington and the Bluegrass Area Development District. He was a Council Aide to former Mayor Teresa Isaac and the late Councilman Julian Beard. He worked for Cool Insurance Group. He appreciated the support from his coworkers and enjoyed assisting his clients. 

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Kendall Fogle (Ryan Haney) and Stephanie Fogle. One granddaughter Kaelin Fogle-Haney, one brother, Tommy Fogle and Mother in law Margie Elkins. 

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held for Willy at 11:30am, Thursday, January 20, 2022 at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing with a visitation time starting at 10:30am until time of service. Inurnment to follow at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens at 1pm. A gathering of friends and family will also take place from 6pm to 8pm, Wednesday, January 19th, 2022.
