Obituary of Kayla Shepard

Frankfort – Kayla Shepard, 29, passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021. A native of Frankfort, she was born on November 29, 1991 to Ezra Shepard and the late Danette Sargent Shepard. She was a wonderful mother and beautiful daughter and sister. Kayla always had a smile; loved getting her nails done; and riding around with her friends. She enjoyed riding motorcycles with her dad.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her daughter, Aaliya Elizabeth Jewell Amey; her sons, Xavier Ray Amey and Legend Ezra Joseph Shepard; her sisters, Raygan (Kasey) Hunter, Frankfort and Emily Summer, Louisville.

Services will be planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd to help the family with funeral expenses.
