Obituary of William Spalding Green, Jr.

Nicholasville - William Spalding Green, Jr., 84, husband of Peggy Smreker Green, passed away on November 26, 2021. He was born in Lebanon, Kentucky on February 7, 1937 to the late William Spalding and Mahala Lancaster Green. He was a veteran of the United States Army, and a member of Pax Christi Catholic Church. He was in private practice as a dentist in Lexington for over 40 years. In addition to his wife Peggy, he is survived by his daughter, Natalie Noell, and her children, Patrick and Kristen; daughter, Elizabeth Miller, and her children, Jack and Beth; son, Spalding(Shelli) Green, and his children, Blake and Sid; 5 great grandchildren, sister, Libby (Charlie) Haydon; brother, Richard (Nora) Green. Spalding was preceded in death by three brothers, Eugene Green, Joe P. Green and Edward Green. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday December, 2, 2021 at 12pm, Pax Christi Catholic Church.
