Obituary of James Marvin Conway

Frankfort – James Marvin Conway, 62, passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021. A native of Frankfort, he was born on January 21, 1959 to the late Charles Edward and Juanita Donovan Conway. James was always outdoors, hunting, fishing, and camping. He enjoyed collecting antiques, especially old tools & coins. He was creative and liked to whittle and carve. He especially enjoyed riding his vintage Harley & spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his partner of 30 years, Elizabeth “Libby” Smith, Frankfort; his son, James “Donavan” Conway, Frankfort; his sister, Mary Lou (Willie) Payton, Frankfort; and his grandson, James Tyson Conway; his granddaughters, Saphire Alexandria Louise Manley, and Shelly Ann Marie Manley; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Christopher James Manley; and his brother, Charles William Conway.

Services will be planned for the spring. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care of the Bluegrass. Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be expressed at www.ClarkLegacyCenter.com.
