Obituary of Donald E. Creech

Donald E. Creech, 80, died on Sunday, August 29, 2021 in Wilmore, KY. He was born on March 10, 1941 to the late Maura and Ruby Creech.  Don graduated from Versailles High School in 1959 and attended Georgetown College and Cumberland College.  He was a veteran of the US Air Force.  Don managed the Men’s Dept of Creech’s and in retirement he worked for the Kroger Company. Don was a faithful Christian and a lifelong Baptist. He was always very kind and never met a stranger. He will be truly missed. Donald is survived by three siblings, Glenda Creech, Wilmore, KY, Jerry (Pat) Creech, Memphis, TN and Ken (Patty) Creech, Lexington, KY; one nephew, Jeff (Yvette) Henderson, Burlington, KY; five nieces, Jennifer Henderson, Lexington, KY, Ashley (Bob) Creech-Caruso, Jacksonville, FL, Lynsey (David) Trager, Louisville, KY, Laura Creech, Lexington, KY, Susan (Mason) Bramer, Louisville, KY, 2 great nieces and 3 great nephews and many special cousins and friends!  A private graveside service will be held at a later date in the Lexington Cemetery.  Memorials to Wesley Village, 1125 Lexington Rd, Wilmore, KY 40390.
