Obituary of Beatrice "Faye" Antle

Beatrice “Faye” Antle, 88, passed away peacefully in the arms of Jesus March 15, 2021. She had been a resident for the last 3 years at Lexington Country Place, Lexington, KY. A native of Irvine KY. She was the daughter of the late R.H. Flynn and the late Alverda Alcorn Flynn.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Winchester, KY, where she was a prior chairwoman and member of the Marietta Mansfield Circle. Faye was very active in her community where she lived in Winchester. She directed many charitable variety shows for the Winchester Lions Club and a 175 historical show “Through the Years” where the proceeds went to build a shelter at Wesley Woods Christian camp for children. She assisted in opening the first “Barn Dinner Theatre” in the state of KY and served as the public relations Director there for many years. She was also managed Jeromes Beauty Boutique in the Winchester Plaza after that she served as General Manager of the Lexington Club in Lexington, KY, and the Winchester Countr Club.  In her retirement she turned a hobby into a specialty cake business. She was famously known for her beautiful and delicious wedding cakes. A “Faye” cake was Truely a work of art! She loved life, her friends, and her family. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her 2 daughters, Sari Antle Larson-husband, Jon Larson and Shelley Antle Watson - husband, Paul Wilson; 3 grandsons, Robert Green, Samuel Watson and David Watson; two brothers, Odell Flynn, Wiley Michael Flynn-wife, Carolyn Flynn and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held later this Summer. Donations in her name can be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
