Obituary of Mary Alice Armstrong Sapp

Mary Alice Armstrong Sapp, 57, widow of Phillip L. Sapp, passed away on Friday, April 2, 2021. A Native of Frankfort, she was born on July 21, 1963 to the late Homer Gilbert and Doris Smith Armstrong. She was a Registered Nurse at Frankfort Regional Medical Center. Mary loved to color and draw. She enjoyed listening to rock music and taking pictures of anything she could. She enjoyed recording memories. Mary had a great sense of humor, loved to cook, and enjoyed being out in the country.  

She is survived by her sons, Brian (Taryn Gay) Sapp, Frankfort, and Philip Sapp, Frankfort; her brothers, Gary Armstrong, and Bruce Armstrong, both of Frankfort; her grandchildren, Gavin Whyatt Sapp, Lacee Jean Sapp, Kaleigh Elizabeth, Aliyah Jo’ Faith, and Karson Levi Hicks; her nephews, Jonathan Rogers, IN, and Daniel Rogers, IN; as well as numerous extended family members.  

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Cindy Lu Armstrong.  

Graveside Service will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, April 12, 2021 at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:30am until 1:30pm on Monday, April 12, 2021 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd.
