Obituary of Kathleen Parker Wright

Kathleen Parker Wright, 66, widow of Lorenzo Wright, passed away on Saturday, March 20, 2021. A native of Frankfort, she was born on January 10, 1955 to the late Eugene and Irene Mae Rodgers Parker. She worked for Fruit of the Loom. Kathleen loved her family and was always smiling and outgoing. She loved the outdoors, especially the wildlife and camping.  

She is survived by her daughter, Buffy Renee Wright Sams; her son, Tony Wright; her granddaughter, Alexis Nicole Hensley; her sister, Shirley Miller; her brothers, David (Teresa) Parker, Marvin (Janet) Parker, and Danny Parker; her special niece and nephew, Carla and Willie Lynn as well as numerous others.  

In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by a very special friend, Randy Farther; her sister, Sue Wheeler; and several special aunts and uncles.  

Graveside service will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Serving as casketbearers will be William Lynn, Willie Lynn, Jesse Terrell, Austin Bridgeman, David Paige, and Gary Mitchell. Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd is in charge of arrangements.
