Obituary of Julie Mungle

Julie J. Mungle, 66, widow of Rickey D. Mungle, passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2021. She was born in Hunnington, West Virginia to the late Elbert Lee and Mary Ann Jones McDaniel on April 12, 1954. Julie and Rickey owned and operated M&M Heat Pump Service. Julie was a proud member of several local bourbon groups, where she was lovingly referred to as the Mother of Bourbon. Most importantly, her entire world revolved around her children and grandchildren. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Allison Mungle Pelfrey (Dominique) and Kristen Hardesty (Dustin), both of Lexington; her sister, Leah Belt, of Lexington; her sister, Shawn Ball (Ronald) of FL; her grandchildren Madison Pelfrey, Connor Pelfrey, Tanner Dale Hardesty, and Dylan Hardesty; and her beloved nieces and nephews, Evan Belt, Travis Belt, Brooke Rollando, Brandon Ball, Ann Vaughn, Matthew Johnson, Jay Mungle, Jon Mungle, and Billy Horton. A Celebration of Life Service will be held closer to their anniversary to honor both Julie and Rickey.
