Obituary of Steven Joseph Lee

Steven Joseph Lee Sr., 62, husband of Ramona Conrad Lee, passed away Thursday, March 4, 2021. He was born to Bobby Gene Lee and the late Geraldine Elizabeth Cravens on September 7, 1958 in Louisville, Kentucky. 

Steve spent 62 years as a loving son, 61 years as a loyal brother, 42 years as a dedicated UPS man, 38 years as a proud father, and 27 years as a devoted husband. 

He is survived by his wife Ramona; his eldest son Steven Joseph “Joey” (Ella) Lee Jr.; his daughter Stephanie Rose Lee; his youngest son Matthew Austin Lee; his father Bobby (Patricia) Lee; his brother Richard Gene (Jane) Lee; his eight grandchildren Skyler “Quin”, Caleb, Joshua, Isobel, Benjamin, Trinity, Trenton, Chelcie; mother and father-in-law Karl-Heinz and Edeltraud Conrad; his sister-in-law Gabriela (Thomas) Kitzmann; and his brother-in-law Matthias (Olena) Conrad. 

He is preceded in death by his mother, Geraldine; his daughter Lindsey Nicole Lee; his sister Sharon Anne Lee; and brother Michael Ray Lee.

Steve enjoyed spending time with his family watching the CATS play and attending church. He was an avid sports fan and loved golfing; but he spent most days at home with his wife and fur-babies, Mia and Mila. 

A gathering of family and friends will be held Sunday, March 14, 2021 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm at Clark Legacy Center, Brandon Crossing, Nicholasville, KY. Face masks and social distancing precautions are required. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass or The Lexington Humane Society.
