Obituary of Mary Lou (Schaper) Garrison

Nicholasville - Mary Lou (Schaper) Garrison, 83, passed away Friday, January 22, 2021 surrounded by her family. She was born in Harrisville, Illinois on July 19, 1937 to the late William and Pearl Ruby Schaper. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Walter Garrison. Mary is survived by her loving children: Rob (Pam), Tom (Jean), Jim (Vicki), Jill (Pat) Amato, Lynn (Kenney) Frank, Michael (Kim), Don (D’Nai), Kevin (Melaina); 21 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren, sister Betty Bast and sister-in-law, Cindy Schaper. Mary is predeceased by her brother James Schaper and brother-in-law, Ferd Bast.

  A memorial mass will be held at 10 a.m Wednesday January 27th, 2021 at Pax Christi Catholic Church with inurnment to follow. Due to Covid restrictions, no visitation will be held before or after the service. Those attending services must wear proper facial covering, maintain social distancing guidelines and adhere to facilities reduced capacity regulations.
