Obituary of Andrew Lee Smith

Andrew Lee Smith, 19, passed away suddenly on Saturday, January 9, 2021. He was born in New Martinsville, West Virginia on January 7, 2002. Andrew was a graduate of Bryan Station High School and worked at the Bluegrass Station. He loved basketball, and had planned on opening a reptile rescue for his love of animals.  

Andrew is survived by his mother, Brandy Workman; niece, Zoey Kate; beloved dog, Benjamin; maternal grandmother, Mary (James) Jurin; uncle, Jack Jurin; maternal aunt, Stacey Towles; paternal aunts, Anna Smith and Donna Stallings; and several other maternal and paternal aunts, uncles and cousins. Andrew was preceded in death by his sister, Hailey Nicole Smith; grandfather, Ole’ Pap; and great uncle Wayne Workman.  

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be Friday, January 15, 2021 from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made towards Zoey Kate’s educational fund. Link and account information for this will be updated as soon as it is available.
