Obituary of Lucas Michael Parsons

Lucas Michael Parsons, 10, of Lexington, Kentucky passed away surrounded by his family on November 10, 2020 at University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington, Kentucky. He was born on April 24, 2010 in Boston, Massachusetts to Michael Kenneth and Kelly Kazee Parsons. 

He was a Drama Major at School for Creative & Performing Arts (SCAPA) at Bluegrass. 

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Hunter Elwood Parsons; sister, Abigail Rigsby Parsons; paternal grandmother, Linda Parsons; maternal grandparents, Danny and Melody Kazee; paternal great grandmother, Virginia Nunn and several aunts, uncles and cousins. 

Lucas was a bright and kind soul who cared deeply for his friends, family, mankind, and the environment. He loved climbing trees, playing Legos, scouting, drawing, and writing. Lucas was the oldest and would continuously shepherd his younger siblings. He aspired to be a video game designer and loved music, games, plays and fellowship.  

A private Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday followed by a Celebration of Life in April of 2021.
