Obituary of Clarence Roger Allen

<b>Online Obituaries for Lexington, Frankfort, and Versailles KY</b> Roger Allen, 82, born March 13, 1932 in Buffalo Ohio. He was a long time resident of Plantation Key, Florida, and retired from Coral Shores High School as an Assistant Principal and the Athletic Director. He was best known by friends and family as the "Coach". He was a member of Masonic Lodge 64 and an Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his son, Gale Allen and his wife of 53 years Janice Faye Schultz-Allen. He was survived by his two sons and daughter and their spouses Roger and Rebecca Allen, Jon and Dana Allen, Barbara and Ken French and his granddaughter Hannah McKinney. He loved coaching and mentoring student athletes. He enjoyed golfing, Bluegrass music, the theater, swimming in his canal and the beach. He left behind many lifelong friends. <b>Funeral Information</b> Services will be held this summer at the Methodist Church in Tavernier FL.
