Obituary of John W Howard

<b>Frankfort</b> John W. Howard, 87, passed away on February 4, 2014 at his home. A native of Franklin County, he was born on November 16, 1926 to the late George Edward and Callie Ola Moreland Howard. Mr. Howard was a farmer and a retiree of the KY Department of Revenue. He was a member of Peaks Mill Christian Church and a Navy Veteran of World War II. Mr. Howard is survived by his daughters, Joan (Gary) Taylor of Shelbyville, T. Kay (Jim) Ferguson of Lawrenceburg and Deborah Gayle Howard of Midway; his son, John L. (Cindy) Howard of <b>Frankfort</b>; his brothers, Robert Howard and LeRoy Howard, both of <b>Frankfort</b>; his 11 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Clara Cummins Howard, 4 sisters and 3 brothers. <b>Funeral Information</b> A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday from 3:00-5:00PM at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. Mr. Howard had requested that no flowers be sent.
