Obituary of James E Howard

<b>Frankfort</b> James E. Howard, 90, husband of the late Dorothy J. Howard, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2014. A native of Franklin County, he was born to the late E.B. and Mattie Baxter Howard on September 24, 1923. Mr. Howard worked for the Department of Commerce and served his county for 30 years as a Master Sargent in the U.S. Air Force. He was also a member of Crestwood Baptist and Masonic #4 Hiram. Mr. Howard is survived by his daughters, June (Thomas) Brady of Florida and Jane (Paul) Poynter of <b>Frankfort</b>; his sister, Earline Brumback of Louisville; his brother, William (Betty) Howard of <b>Frankfort</b>; 5 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, James E. "Pete" Howard, II; and his sister, Alpha (Glenn) Bailey. <b>Funeral Information</b> Services for Mr. Howard will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, January 30th at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. with Rev. William Hartung officiating. Visitation will be from noon until the time of service.
