Obituary of Steve Moore

<b>Obituary</b> Steve Moore of Lexington, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2013 after a long illness. He was born in Akron, Ohio to Shirley and the late LeRoy B. Moore. Steve was a devoted father who never met a stranger and who had a great love of music. He honorably served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the American Legion Post 8. His great love of music included being a member of the Lafayette Band winning the State Marching Band title. He was also a member of Southland Christian Church. In addition his mother, Shirley V. Moore, Steve is survived by his daughter, Stefanie Lynn Moore of Cincinnati, Ohio; son, Scott Moore of Lexington, Kentucky; two sisters, Millie (Thom) Marshall and Roberta (Joe) Seybold, both of Lexington, Kentucky; two nephews, Trent Marshall of Georgia and Travis (Erin) Marshall, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his brother; Robert B. Moore. <b>Funeral Information</b> Visitation will be 9:30-10:30 am, Friday, February 22, 2013 at Clark Legacy Center in Brannon Crossing, Nicholasville, Kentucky. Graveside services will follow at 11 am at Camp Nelson National Cemetery, officiated by Chaplain (Colonel) Richard H. Hargett.
