Obituary of Steve "Tetaw" Shryock

<b>Online Obituaries for Lexington, Frankfort, and Versailles KY</b> Versailles - Steve "Tetaw" Shryock, 61, husband of Cindy Lane Shryock, died Monday, June 23, 2014. A native of Woodford County, he was born on July 25, 1952 to the late Albert and Doris Richardson Shryock. Mr. Shryock was a farmer, carpenter and a deputy at the Woodford County Detention Center in charge of maintenance. He was also a member of Forks of Elkhorn Baptist Church. In addition to his wife of 43 years, he is survived by his daughter Michele and her husband Chris Rankin, Versailles; his son Jeremy and his wife Rebecca Shryock, Versailles; his sister, Linda (Ray) Popp, Midway; his brother, Philip (Judy) Shryock, TX; his grandchildren, Austin Rankin, Lannon Settles, Greyson Rankin, Creighton Rankin, Jackson, Drew and Colt Shryock; his great grandson, Ian Rankin; special sisters in law, Kathy (Mike) James, Faye Shelton and Dana Lane; special brothers in law, Fred (Margaret) Lane, Don (Monna) Lane, J.M. (Pat) Lane; and many special nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. <b>Funeral Information</b> Funeral service will be 11am Friday, June 27, 2014 at Forks of Elkhorn Baptist Church with Rev. Mike James and Rev. Todd Lester officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Crest Cemetery. Serving as casketbearers will be Jeremy Shryock, Chris Rankin, Lannon Settles, Kevin Lane, Robert Richardson, John Richardson, Ricky Woods and Philip Shryock. Honorary Casketbearers will be his 7 grandsons. Visitation will be Thursday, June 26, 2014 from 4pm until 8pm at the church.
