Obituary of Virginia A Bagatelos

<b>Lexington, Kentucky</b> Virginia A. Bagatelos, 81, wife of James Bagatelos, died at St. Joseph Hospital East. Virginia was born in Auburn, California, daughter of the late Joseph O. and Louise Thompson Entwistle. She was a former owner of Manmar Ranch in Dixon, California and was a longtime breeder of standard bred horses for over 30 years. She loved to farm and spend time with her family and grandchildren. She cared for her husband deeply, and she was a devout Catholic. She was a fantastic bowler and participated in leagues and loved caring for her pets. Other survivors besides her husband is her daughter Elizabeth Foley, her three grandchildren, Shane, Kimberly and James Foley all of Lexington. She was preceded in death by her brother Stanley Engelman. Contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association or to Standard Bred Retirement Foundation in New Jersey. Clark Legacy Center is in charge of the arrangements.
