Obituary of James "Mac" Hunter

<b>Versailles -</b> James "Mac" Hunter, 85, died Sunday, August 24, 2014. He was the son of the late William M. Hunter and Willie Mae Matthews Hunter. He was a lifetime resident of Versailles who enjoyed building residential and commercial properties along with land developing. It would have given him such pleasure to know that you may be living in something he had a hand in building. Mr. Hunter was also a veteran of the US Army. He was preceded in death by Marie T. Hunter. He is survived by his children, Dorothy and John McKinney, Mary Jane and Terry Wilder, Connie Hunter and Bill, Marilyn and Barry Jackson, Mary Mahan, Patsy Bobbitt, Donna Bobbitt, Tony and Judy Bobbitt, all of Versailles; a sister, Rose Dean; two brothers, William M. Hunter, Jr., and Charles Hunter. He was blessed with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and even great-great grandchildren. A sister Mollie McClain and brother Russell Hunter are deceased. <b>Funeral Information</b> Visitation and services will be held Thursday, August 28, at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill, Versailles, KY. Visitation will be from 5:00PM until time of service at 7:00PM, conducted by Pastor Justin Rader. Pallbearers will be Danny Bunton, TJ Wilder, Malcolm Hunter, Brandon Bobbitt, Scott Bobbitt, and Jeffery Meyer.
