Obituary of Harry Tyler Purdy

<b>Obituary</b> Harry Tyler Purdy, II, 66, of Versailles, Kentucky and husband of Beth Crabtree Purdy, died Friday, July 15, 2011. He was born on December 12, 1944 to the late Harry Tyler Purdy and Eileen Lynch in Shelbyville, KY. Tyler was the retired Assistant Chief for the Versailles Police Department and a veteran of the United States Marine Corp., having served in Vietnam. He was also a member of St. Leo Catholic Church and a member of the Kentucky Association of Chiefs of Police. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Jeremy Tyler Purdy, Georgetown, Joy Purdy Farmer, Versailles, Jamie Lynn Purdy, SC, and Colleen Anne Purdy, Versailles; his sister, Patricia Frazier, Lexington; his grandson, Paxton Tyler Farmer, Versailles; and the mother of his 3 eldest children, Jackie Purdy, Versailles. <b>Funeral Information</b> Service will be 11 am, Monday, July 18, 2011 at St. Leo Catholic Church with Father Danny Schwendeman officiating. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be from 5-8 pm, Monday, July 18 at Clark Legacy Center.
