Obituary of Jessie Ruth Russell Bailey

<b>Frankfort, KY</b> Jessie Ruth Russell Bailey, 87, widow of John T. Bailey, Jr., passed away Wednesday July 8, 2015 at her home. A native of Frankfort she was born on November 27, 1927 to the late Lonnie Russell, Sr. and Lillian Jackson Russell. John and Jessie were the owners of Hilltop Market in Bald Knob for over 25 years. She was also a faithful member of St. John Baptist Church where she served as treasurer for 42 years. Ms. Bailey was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be missed by all. She is survived by her children Steve Bailey, Mt. Washington; L. Bradley (Louise) Bailey, Frankfort; Trudy Roberts, Frankfort; Melanie (Doug) Bailey-Riffe, Ashland; Kim Bailey, Frankfort; special family friend J.D. Morris; 5 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. A special thank you to Jessie's care givers Laura Shouse; Rhonda Brooks, Oletta Jones; Margaret Norton, and Cindy Miller. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Lloyd T. Russell, and Lonnie Russell, Jr. <b>Funeral Information</b> Funeral Services will be held Saturday 1:00pm at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Road. Reverend Everett Hawkins will officiate. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Serving as casketbearers will be Doug Riffe, Clarence Epling, Tom Russell, Jerry Graves, Mike Harrod, and Johnny Colston. Visitation will be from 11:00am until start of the service at the funeral home.
