Obituary of Florence Lou Iorio

<b>Lexington, Kentucky</b> Iorio Florence Lou (Tommy), 90, passed away June 6, 2015. Tommy was a resident at Hartland Hills retirement community in Lexington, KY for the past six years and previous to that lived in Seven Lakes,NC, New City, NY and Chicago Heights, IL but her childhood was spent in the Hyde Park area of Cincinnati. She obtained a bachelors degree in Business from the Univ. of Cincinnati and worked at Cincinnati Milacron during WWII. She was a wonderful mother and spouse and a contributor to the communities she lived in. After being widowed she was an employee at ADP headquarters in New Jersey. Upon her retirement she moved to North Carolina and honed her skills as a photographer with the Sandhills Photography Club. She took many photos in the Outer Banks of NC, on travels with family friend Vivian Tremante, and on organized tour trips to exotic locations around the world. She enjoyed all the arts including the Univ. of Kentucky Orchestra where her grandson Thomas played bassoon. She painted a few oil paintings and made some very nice outfits with her seamstress skills that she mastered from many years of making much of her own clothing. She will be missed dearly. Tribute donations should go to the Alzheimer's Association. <b>Funeral Information</b> A Celebration of her life will be held at 2:00pm, Thursday, June 11, 2015 at Heartland Hills Senior Living Center.
