Obituary of Alberta Isaac

<b>Lexington, Kentucky</b> Alberta Boggs Isaac, 86, of Lexington, Ky., beloved wife of Joe Isaac for 66 years, passed away on June 27, 2014. Alberta was born in Big Stone Gap, Virginia on November 15, 1927, graduated from Benham High School, received her teaching certificate and taught elementary school. In 1947, she married the love of her life, Joe Isaac. A true partner in all the family businesses, including the real estate agency, Alberta worked for years at the family restaurant, she was a former co-owner of the Burger Shake on New Circle Road in Lexington KY, in addition to running the household and raising her children. She had a creative mind and a love of music, literature, poetry, and crossword puzzles. She was an avid Duplicate Bridge player and attained the status of a Senior Life Master. Alberta was proud to be a staunch Democrat and was instrumental in many successful local political campaigns. She always lit up the room with her sparkle, wit, beautiful smile and laughter. In addition to her husband, she leaves behind her children, J.E. Isaac, III, Sharyn Clements (Joe), and Sheila Isaac (Lewis Paisley), grandchildren, Whitney Adams, Justin Clements (Dawn Adkins), Joseph Isaac, IV, and three great-grandchildren, Carter, Mason, and Parker Clements. Alberta's greatest legacy has been in the lives of her family. She had a positivity and energy about her that lifted up others. Her kind and generous heart filled her home with love and fun. Alberta leaves her husband and her children and grandchildren with the knowledge that they were truly loved and cherished. <b>Funeral Information</b> A private memorial will be held.
