Obituary of Hilda Coatney Lowry

<b>Online Obituaries for Versailles KY</b> VERSAILLES- Hilda Coatney Lowry, 85, widow of William B. Lowry, died Friday, June 13, 2014. She was born on August 26, 1928 to the late Homer and Agatha Dozier Coatney in Woodford County. Mrs. Lowry was a House Mother at the University of Kentucky for the Phi Sigma Kappa Sorority and a member of Rosemont Baptist Church. She is survived by her children, Sharon Lowry, Homer W. Lowry and William Beakler, all of Lousiville; her brothers, Paul Coatney of WV and Lester Coatney of KY; and her grandchildren, Hannah Greene, Sharon Greene, Sarah Lowry, Jonah Lowry, Mathew Beakler and Stacie Beakler, all of Louisville. <b>Funeral Information</b> A Gathering of Family and Friends will be Tuesday, June 17, 2014 from 6-7pm at Little Flock Baptist Church, 5510 N. Preston Hwy. Shepherdsville, KY 40165. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 7pm.
