Obituary of Bernadette "Bernie" Smith

<b>Obituary</b> Bernadette "Bernie" Smith, 63, widow of Hugh L. Smith III, died Monday, December 10, 2012. She was born in Lebanon, Kentucky on February 28, 1949 to the late Richard C. and Agnes Shanahan Mudd. She was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church, a treasurer of the Simon House, founding member and treasurer of Capital Ovarian Cancer Organization, treasurer for the Chamber of Commerce, the former President of Kiawanis Club, and a member of Toastmaster. She is survived by her daughter Laura Nell Smith (Kerry) Butler, Frankfort; sister, Patricia Lou (David) Gibbons, Lebanon; brothers, Richard C. Mudd Jr., Florida; Charles (Maria) Mudd, Florida, grandchildren, Mattie Butler and Ben Butler. She was preceded in death by two sisters Sr. Nora Rita Mudd and Maryanne Ford and one brother Michael Mudd. Casket Bearers are Dan Glass, Mark Craig, Don Giles, Richard Sutherland, Randall Russell, Jim Clouse. Honorary Casket Bearers are Glenna Glass, Jerri Robinson, Sara Sutherland, Juanita Back, Becky McKee Compton, Rose Gayle Hardy, Kim Brown and Maria Mudd. <b>Funeral Information</b> Services will be held 1:00 PM, Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Road. Visitation will be 3-8pm, Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at the funeral home
